I was honored this past holiday season to be commissioned to make four memory quilts and a custom pillow for a family who recently lost their beloved husband/father/grandfather. These most thoughtful gifts were presented to family members at Christmas. The experience of making these quilts proved to also be a gift to me, as throughout the process I felt I got to know the man and appreciated the deep love and affection his family had for him.
